A Weekend of Music, Art, and Island Magic on Ocracoke – June 6–8, 2025

Mark your calendars for June 6–8, 2025, as Ocracoke Island transforms into a vibrant hub of music, storytelling, and community at the annual Ocrafolk Festival. Organized by the nonprofit Ocracoke Alive, this cherished event brings together artists, musicians, and artisans from the island and beyond for a weekend of unforgettable performances and cultural celebration.


A Diverse Musical Lineup

This year’s festival boasts an eclectic mix of performers:

  • Larry & Joe: A dynamic duo blending Venezuelan and Appalachian folk traditions.
  • Reggie Harris: Renowned for his powerful storytelling and commitment to social justice through music.
  • Jeff Little Trio: Bringing high-energy Appalachian piano-driven tunes.
  • Wilder Flower: A trio known for their harmonious blend of folk, Americana, and bluegrass.
  • Clements Brothers: Identical twins delivering heartfelt roots and rock melodies.
  • Foreign Landers: A transatlantic duo fusing bluegrass with Irish folk influences.

Other notable acts include Sam Fribush, Josh Goforth, Lipbone Redding, Molasses Creek, Donald Davis, and Paperhand Puppets.


Artisans, Workshops & Family Fun

Beyond the music, attendees can explore the Artisan Village, participate in interactive workshops, and enjoy family-friendly activities. The festival also features storytelling sessions, puppet shows, and traditional square dances, ensuring entertainment for all ages.


Tickets & Accessibility

Tickets are available online and at the festival entrance.

  • All-Weekend Pass: $125
  • Single Day Passes:
    • Friday: $60
    • Saturday: $70
    • Sunday: $50
  • Evening Passes (6–10 PM):
    • Friday or Saturday: $25 each

Youth under 17 can obtain free weekend passes onsite. Volunteers contributing at least four hours receive a complimentary all-weekend pass.
