Spend the afternoon at the Salvo Day Use Area where you will find soundside beaches, picnic spots, and shallow water that is perfect for kiteboarding and windsurfing. Rodanthe Pier is nearby for fishing or simply enjoying the view, and local favorites like Good Winds and Waterman’s are great places to grab dinner and watch the sunset.
Beach driving is easy from ORV Ramp 25, giving you another way to enjoy the shoreline. When you need to run out for groceries or supplies, Waves Market and Dollar General are just down the street
