ORV Ramp 23 is nearby for beach driving, and the Rodanthe Public Beach Access offers parking, a bathhouse, outdoor showers, gazebo and boardwalk. The Rodanthe Pier is also just up the road for fishing or simply taking in the ocean views.
Head south and you will find the Salvo Day Use Area, a local favorite for sound access, kiteboarding, windsurfing or spending a quiet afternoon by the water.
The Tri Villages multi use path makes it easy to get out and explore. Bike, walk or jog through Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo while enjoying this unique stretch of Hatteras Island.
For watersports, REAL Watersports and Kitty Hawk Kites are close by with lessons, rentals and plenty of ways to get out on the water.
When you are ready for something to eat, you do not have to go far. Local favorites like Good Winds and Watermen’s Bar & Grill are nearby, along with plenty of other places to grab a bite after a day at the beach or on the water.
