Unlimited Wings, Live Music, and Family Fun Come to Manteo
If you love chicken wings, live music, and spending a summer afternoon on the Outer Banks, you won’t want to miss the first-ever All-American Wing Fling – Outer Banks Edition. This brand-new festival is coming to Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo on Saturday, August 1, 2026, and promises to be one of the tastiest new events of the summer.
Who’s Got the Sauce?
The Wing Fling brings together more than 12 local restaurants for an all-out battle to earn bragging rights as the Outer Banks’ favorite wings. Guests with a Wing Pass can enjoy unlimited wing sampling during the official tasting hours and cast their vote to help crown the “Who’s Got the Sauce?” Wing Fling Champion.
If you’re more interested in soaking up the atmosphere than sampling every flavor, a General Admission ticket gives you access to all of the festival activities outside the tasting area.
