The small town of Duck, North Carolina gets its name from its abundant waterfowl population and has been a popular hunting destination since the 1800’s.
Duck offers something for everyone from shell collecting on its white sand beaches or jet skiing in the Currituck Sound. Duck is home to the annual nationally-known Jazz Festival every fall and has plentiful fine dining and shopping opportunities. You HAVE to take a stroll or bike ride along Duck Trail that runs the entire length of the town, parallel to Highway 12, that offers amazing views of the Currituck Sound and connects many of the restaurants and shops!
